Event Cities: Architecture as Performance

German-born Marco Bohr’s latest photographs were created during a stint in Japan. Ascending to the top of highrises to snap spectators ogling cityscapes, he captures quintessentially contemporary attitudes of looking. Bohr is exhibited with works by Scott Conarroe, an artist based in London, Ontario, whose photos of watery spaces—a marina, a swimming pool—plumb the corporeal precincts of the city, and Cheryl Sourkes, who goes macro in her Cam Cities photo montage, a digitally manipulated grid comprising aerial views of the city. Artwork $1,500–$5,000. — Betty Ann Jordan
